Minister of Trade: Strengthening Rupiah , One Thing to Drive the Palm oil Trade with L/C

InfoSAWIT, BANDUNG –The falling of Rupiah, according to Minister of Trade, Enggartiarto Lukita, is reasonable. It happens for the investment in United States of America (USA) is created as good as possible by publishing the tax relief. This is why, the Dollar circulation in the world recedes.

“This happens for the Dollar circulates in USA,” Enggartiasto said in the media gathering in Hotel El Royal, Bandung, Friday (14/9/2018) where InfoSAWIT also attended.

Meanwhile in Indonesia, the main factor that decreases Rupiah is the high cost to trade fossil fuel. “The largest factor is to buy (trade) fuel,” he said.

So the way to return Rupiah to Indonesia is by giving incentives, such as, making tax relief, and every crude palm oil (CPO) trade should be fully done by Letter of Credit (L/C).

The payment should be done in the first place by saving the money for about six months in the banks of Indonesia in the foreign countries. Then it should be conversed to Rupiah. “Every transaction should be done through the banks of Indonesia,” Enggartiasto said.(T2)
