InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA –Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) Commission gave the ISPO certificate to the subsidiary of PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJ), PT Kayung Agro Lestari (KAL) as one of 67 companies and unions passing the assessment process in this year.
General Director of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, Bambang gave the tenth ISPO certificate to Director of Finance, PT ANJ Tbk., Lucas Kurniawan in the event and dialogue of ISPO.
Bambang thought, the goal of giving the certificate is to increase the commitment of the stakeholders to support the certificate and the acceleration of sustainable palm oil development. “And make ISPO more acceptable to get the national and international trust,” he said when giving the tenth ISPO certificate in Jakarta in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Tuesday (18/9/2018).
By the new 67 certificates, ISPO has published 413 certificates in September 2018 in a whole. Bambang continued, his side would keep accelerating to publish and give ISPO certificate to every stakeholder in 2020.
From the company, the certificate to PT KAL – the fourth subsidiary of PT ANJ getting ISPO certificate – showed that ANJ obeys the palm oil governance. “And prioritize the responsible environmental development, and support the sustainable program of the government,” Lucas said in the press release.
