In 2018 The FFB Production of ANJ Increased 7,6%

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – One palm oil and agribusiness company, PT ANJ Tbk (ANJT or Perseroan) ended 2018 within the total fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production reaching 786.104 tons, or increased 7.6% compared to it in 2017 that reached 730.356 tons.

The increasing FFB production was mostly from the plantations in Sumatera I (Binanga), in Pulau Belitung, and in West Kalimantan. Though the plantations in Pulau Belitung and Sumatera I are in the replanting program, but the both increased the FFB production from it in 2017 because of the good weather in the last 18 months.

In the official statement to InfoSAWIT, the company also increased the FFB buying from the third sides to maximize the utility of the factory. The total FFB bought from the third side in 2018 increased 60.0% compared to it in 2017.

As the increasing FFB production and the buying from the third side, the crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK) increased 18,3% and 22,7% for each to be 248.694 metric ton (MT) and 54.033 MT in 2018.

The company also increased the CPO and PK selling volume about 17,8% and 26,8% for each to be about 246.138 tons and 54.285 tons in 2018 compared to those in last year in the same period. (T2)
