InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Director of PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (“Perseroan”, “DSNG”), Andrianto Oetomo said that in 2019, the company plans to increase the capacity of palm oil factory to be 570 tons per hour from the 2018 capacity which was 510 tons per hour. The company now has two new factories within the capacity 30 tons per hour for each.
This year, the company constructedBio CNG-Plant that processes liquid waste of the factory to be compressed bio-methane gas within 280 m3 per hour capacity and electricity within 1,2 megawatt, which the ground breakingnya was done in the end of 2018.
“The construction of Bio-CNG Plant is part of the sustainability policy in the company to be used to substitute the diesel fuel in the factory and the housing of the employees around the plantation,” he said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT recently.
Meanwhile the fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production in the first quarter 2019 reached 512 thousand tons or increased 73% compared to the 2018 first quarter which was 296 thousand tons. While the crude palm oil (CPO) production in the 2019 first quarter reaached 129 thousand tons or increased 61% compared to the same period in last year.
The increasing production happened for the better productivity of the plantations since some last months like they were in two last years. Besides the additional CPO production of the company was from the plantations that the company acquired in the end of 2018.(T2)
