InfoSAWIT, BOGOR – General Director of Legal Relation, Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial/National Land Agency (AS/NLA) represented by Secretary of Directorate General, Ery Suwondo, SH., thought that there should be one or single authority which deals with the spatial so that it would not be overlapping with the forest regions.
For all these years, AS/NLA deals with the use and ownership while Ministry of Forestry and Environment (MFE) deals with the license of natural resource advantage (use) which tends to regulate about the spatial. “As a matter of fact, some of the regulation about the spatial are in AS/NLA,” he said in the Forum Group Discussion (FGD) within the theme “Aspek Tenurial dalam Pengelolaan Lahan untuk Perkebunan dan Hutan Tanaman Industri (HTI)” in the campus of Faculty of Agriculture, Institut Pertanian Bogor Darmaga, Bogor.
He also said that the discussion about the Draft of Land between the legislators and the government should harmonize the gaps of policy between the Ministry of AS/NLA and MFE.
“Some issues about the regulations of abandoned land, the certainty and legal about the overlapping areas make the people and the business world difficult to get the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificate and many more. It is hoped that they have solutions which are regulated in the draft of Land,” he said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Wednesday (29/5/2019).
By the draft, Ministry of AS/NLA could guarantee that the regions published should be clear and clean which means they are free of conflict. (T2)
