CPO Trade Would be Good After IP – PTA is Accomplished

InfoSAWIT, SHANGHAI – The government of China did ministerial informal meeting in the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Shanghai, China on Tuesday (5/10/2019). It was about to formulate and support the 12th Ministers Conference which would be done in Kazakhstan in 2020.

In the meeting, Vice Minister of Trade, Jerry Sambuagajuga did bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister in Trade, Textile, Industry, Production, and Investment, Pakistan, Abdul Razak Dawood in the spare time of the informal WTO minister meeting.

Minister of Pakistan appreciated the government of Indonesia for accomplishing the Indonesia-Pakistan Preferential Trade Agreement (IP-PTA). “By the agreement, it is hoped to increase the exports of Indonesia to Pakistan, namely palm oil which is stuck to European Union,” he recently said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.

In the meeting too, Jerry told that palm oil is important for Indonesia and the stakeholders from Indonesia would invest there. “It is hoped that Pakistan could support palm oil products in the international forums,” he said.  (T2)
