InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Putera Manunggal Perkasa (PMP), the subsidiary of PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya, Tbk., (ANJ) groups which operates in District of Sorong Selatan got the award from Ministry of Health, Indonesian Republic on its commitment to involve and develop the sustainable and responsible people.
The Mitra Bakti Husada award in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category to Program Ibu dan Anak was given to PMP as the real evidence of the private support to develop the health. PMP does it called Program Matahariku (Menggapai Cita dan Harapan untuk Generasi Kuat dan Unggul).
Head of Cultivation and Involvement Department, Ditto Santoso attended as the representative of ANJ to get the award which was given by General Director of People’s Health, Ministry of Health, Indonesian Republic, dr. Kirana Pritasari, MQIHI in the 55th National Health Day in Jakarta (12/11/2019).
In his speech, Minister of Health, dr. Terawan Agus Putranto emphasized that it is important that everyone should contribute to realize Indonesia Sehat, including the private sector.
“The award is the confession of our commitment to involve and develop the capability of local health institution and the people as our partners in Sorong Selatan,” Director of Sustainability, ANJ, Fakri Karim said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.
He also thought that the award is the good achievement and motivates ANJ to be active to contribute and to realize the sustainable development goals by the social and responsible initiatives which are positive to the people and environment around the operational of the company.
“When the heavy challenges and high expectation to the business operation, the award is the good achievement not only to PMP but everyone in ANJ,” Fakri who also thanked Yayasan Pembangunan Citra Insan Indonesia (YPCII) as the business partner to run Program Matahariku in Sorong Selatan.
Program Matahariku runs in some districts of Kais in Sorong Selatan – where PMP operates – in the form of capacity empowerment for the local health institutions and medical officers, increase the awareness of clean health – behavior, empower the health officers in the society, and increase the health of mother and children. The same program also got the award from Perhimpunan Hubungan Masyarakat Indonesia (Perhumas) in April this year. (T2)
