InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – Referring to Plantation Marketing Result and Process or Pengolahan dan Pemasaran Hasil Perkebunan (P2HP), Plantation Agency of South Sumatera, the technical recommendation to smallholders’ replanting program (SRP) in the province per August 2019 covered 21.544 hectares (ha). They would be in District of Muba about 10.729 ha, Muara Enim about 2.102 ha, OKI about 7.700 ha, OKU about 494 ha, Mura about 395 ha, and Prabumulih about 124 ha.
Head of P2HP, Plantation Agency, Southeast Sumatera, Rudi Arpian said that actually, the SRP in the province should be 23.014 ha of the total SRP nationally that covered 200 thousand ha.
He also mentioned that the potential SRP would be in 9 (nine) districts, such as, Musi Banyuasin (Muba) about 5.350 ha, Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) about 5.355 ha, Mura aboout 1.610 ha, Prabumulih about 1.100 ha, Muara Enim about 3.982 ha, OKU about 1.573 ha, Muratara about 1.978 ha, Banyuasin about 1.048 ha, and Lahat aboout 1.018 ha.
For information, referring to the fixed numbers of Plantation Statistics in 2018, the palm oil plantations in the province reached 1.183.334 ha, within the production reaching 3.826.784 tons of crude palm oil (CPO). (T2)
