InfoSAWIT, SORONG – One palm oil plantation, PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya, Tbk., (ANJ) has sent the crude palm oil (CPO) for the first time which was produced by its two subsidiaries in Papua Barat, they are, PT. Permata Putera Mandiri (PPM) in District of Sorong Selatan and PT. Putera Manunggal Perkasa (PMP) in Maybrat.
The palm oil factories (POF) of ANJ are in 45 tons of fresh fruit bunch (FFB)/hour and operate since July 2019. The POF could produce 4.120 tons of CPO by the end of 2019 within the FFB supply from PMP and PPM.
“The CPO shipping is the result of the commissioning of the two plantations since June to December 2019 which reached 4.120 tons in total,” General Manager Estate PMP, Bambang Wijanarko said as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT recently.
The first CPO shipping was directly seen by the regent of Sorong Selatan, Samsudin Anggiluli wrapped in the simple event in Karekano on Wednesday, (22/1/2020). “The regional government really and fully supports ANJ in Sorong Selatan. We encourage the ways of the company to maximize the capacity of the palm oil factory,” he said. The regional government, he continued, is committed to help to get solution of the social issues.
The first shipping was also to test the preparedness of the land and river transportation from the mill in PMP.
Head of Department of Government and Stakeholder Relation, Gritje Fonataba said that besides the regional government of Sorong Selatan, the company also socialized the first shipping to the villagers, the figures around the operational of the companies. (T2)
