22 Unions – The Partners of DSN Group Did Training to 4.0 industry

InfoSAWIT, KUTAI TIMUR - 22 unions, the partners of palm oil plantation company, PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSN Group) in district of Kutai Timur got the training to be the independent and competent unions in the 4.0 industry era.

CSR Head Area 1 DSN Group, Kokok Budianto said that the company is committed to empower the union through the program, We Love Koperasi so they could be the partners and would give the additional values to the members.

“We give training to the members of the unions regularly so that they could compete in this era and could give the better advantages for the members,” he said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Tuesday (24/3/2020).

In the empowerment program, DSN Group took the instances, such as, Cooperation Agency, District of Kutai Timur in Sangatta, BPKM Kutai Timur, and Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Bontang, Kalimantan Timur.

In implementing the partnership, he continued, DSN Group has the principles that require to support, to depend on, and to make profit one to the other.

Some empowerment programs that the company has done through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department are increasing the capacity of the coordinators in the union and monitoring the operational of the unions.

“We also train the coordinators and the supervisors of the unions by educating them how to manage the business by management and diversification of the business in the union,” he said.

Besides the coordinators and the supervisor of the unions should have the capability in information and technology so that they are familiar with the internet. The unions now could report the business progress in online system that Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal orders in the form of Laporan Kegiatan Penanaman Modal (LKPM).

"And also to increase their capability to understand the custom and report it in online system,” he said.

He continued that this is crucial by hoping that the unions as the partners of DSN Group should be able to manage their organization and could give the impact for the members. Besides, the people who become the members of the union would get the advantages from the unions.

“The unions should give advantages for the people who do not become the members (of the unions) because the good unions should be able to gather the social fund to pay the health insurance, improve the agriculture ways around the villages,” Budianto said. (T2)
