Palm Oil Plantation Companies in South Kalimantan Tightly Prevent The Protocol of Covid-19

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – To prevent the spread of corona virus (Covid-19), palm oil plantation companies in South Kalimantan as the members of Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA), South Kalimantan strengthen the protocol to prevent Covid-19. This is about to make the operational in the plantation run well.

Chairman of IPOA, South Kalimantan, Eddy S. Binthi said that the palm oil industries in the province still normally operate both in the factories and in the plantations.

“The plantations in South Kalimantan still operate as usual. But we have to strengthen the protocol to prevent Covid-19,” he said, as in the official written statement to InfoSAWIT, Friday (15/5/2020).

Board of Supervisor of IPOA, South Kalimantan, Totok Dewanto said that besides strengthening the protocol, IPOA also gave helps, such as, the self – protection tools, kinds of food, and in cooperation with kelompok tani hutan (KTH) to process the palm oil shell to be liquid disinfectant.
