Through CSF from PFMA, 4.529 Smallholders Got Training

InfoSAWT, JAKARTA - To increase the skills and expertise of those who work in palm oil sector, Palm oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) distributed the fund to train 4.529 smallholders and 3.300 common people, such as, the coordinators of union, teachers, and students in palm oil sector.

In the official written statement to InfoSAWIT, PFMA gave scholarship to 1.950 students of Diploma 1 (D1) or equal to D3 and D4 who still do vocational study in AKPY – STIPER (Yogyakarta), Politeknik LPP Yogyakarta, Politeknik Citra Widya Edukasi (Bekasi), Politeknik Kampar (Kampar-Riau), and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pertanian Agrobisnis Perkebunan (Medan).


By their learning, the students who got the scholarship now work in many palm oil industries, including as the reliable developers for the smallholders who join the smallholders’ replanting program in many regions. (T2)
