RSPO Regulated the Business Rights and Plantation License for the Palm Oil Companies

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – After the announcement in July 2018  about the Business Rights in the Principles and Criteria, Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil  (P&C RSPO) certificate, Board of Governor (BoG) of RSPO in their meeting in March 2020 concluded some things, such as, the initial certificate, the certificate unit should have Business Rights and Plantation License or other alternative legal documents that could be acceptable as it is defined in the national interpretation.

The recertification, certificate unit could follow up their certification as long as there is available real proof that the company has did something to get Business License and obey the conditions at the moment.

As InfoSAWIT quoted from RSPO, the surveillance audit could be followed up as it was written in the previous announcement. The condition would run since the date of announcement and BoG would review the decision and would develop in the future. (T2)
