InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - The fund supports from Palm oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) do not stop in the smallholders’ replanting program (SRP). There are fund supports to infrastructures too. The policy would focus to the infrastructure packages that is regulated in Decision of General Director of Plantation No. 144/Kpts/OT.050/4/2020.
The packages consist of fertilizers, pesticides, and infrastructure and would be given through the nursery in the productive plantations or through the intensification program per package per hectare. The package of post – harvest tools would be given based on the norms in the plantation per package per hectare.
There is infrastructure (way construction/improvement) package. It would be given based on the norms in the palm oil plantation and/or based on the assessment result of survey, investigation, and design (SID) consultants per package per hectare.
The water management rehabilitation package would also be given based on the norms in the plantations and/or based on the assessment result of SID consultants per package per unit.
General Director of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, Kasdi Subagyono said that the distribution of package from PFMA would focus in 18 provinces. The main package to give is the seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides for about 2000 hectares; then the other package would be given to the people’s plantations by giving fertilizers and pesticides for about 8000 hectares; and 10 packages to get Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificate.
“We also provide the fund distribution to increase the way (infrastructure) in the people’s plantations covering about 6000 hectares,” he said in the online discussion which InfoSAWIT joined in the midst of May 2020. (T2)
