Alexandra Experton: Ready to Create Sustainable Palm Oil Industry

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – As the sustainable business leader in the world, Cargill does give the chances to the young executives who have vision and ideas in sustainable business to join and develop business in Cargill. One of them is by taking Alexandra Experton, the female young figure as the Director of Sustainability.

“My goal is to increase the trust in palm oil product as same as the realization of sustainable palm oil industry,” she recently said in a written interview to InfoSAWIT.

Alexandra Experton within her nick name Alex was as an executive in Olam Group, the group business in Singapore dealing with agriculture and palm oil. For four years, Alex developed the sustainable work and involved in many stakeholders to develop palm oil plantations in Gabon based on the new planting procedures in Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).  “Before I work in Cargill, I was working in Olam Group for four years,” she explained.

Cargill as the vegetable oil business company is committed to the sustainable. The main focus of Cargill is about to develop palm oil, coconut oil, and soybean oil business through the strategies, development projects, and industrial partnership development. “I do support the involvement of Cargill with the customers, suppliers, non – government organization, and representation of organization in every initiative, including RSPO. I was the chairman in the taskforce of human rights,” Alex told what she did. (T1)
