InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT. Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJ) now has and operates 6 palm oil plantations and 5 palm oil factories.
In the public expose, the company told that by the third quarter of 2020, its fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production from the main plantations increased 2,1% to be 553.698 tons, compared to it in 2019 in the same period which reached 542.156 tons.
Director of Finance of ANJ, Lucas Kurniawan said that the increasing FFB production happened for plantations in Papua Barat were productive in the first quarter of 2020.
While crude palm oil and palm kernel oil of the company decreased 2,6% and 4,9% for each. He thought that the decreasing happened for the decreasing FFB production in the main plantations in Pulau Belitung because they are in replanting program.
“”The decreasing cycle happened for the plantation got the increasing production in the first semester last year and the decreasing production in the plantation in West Kalimantan because of the drought in the second quarter of 2019,” Lucas said. (T2)
