InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The reference price of crude palm oil (CPO) to decide Out Fee (OF) in January 2021 is US$ 951,86/Metric Ton (MT). It increased US$ 81,09 or 9,31 percent from December 2020 which reached US$ 870,77/MT only.
It was listed in Regulation of Minister of Trade No. 105 / 2020 about The Decision of Export Referential Price (ERP) on Agriculture and Forestry Products having Out Fee. “CPO refence price is over the threshold which is US$ 750/MT. The government decided that CPO OF is US$ 74/MT in January 2021,” General Director of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Trade, Didi Sumedi said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Monday (4/1/2021).
CPO OF in January 2021 is listed in Colomn 6, Attachment II, C, Regulation of Minister of Finance (RMF) No. 166/PMK.010/2020 which is US$ 74/MT. The numbers increased more than those in December which was US$ 33/MT
Meanwhile the export citation is not for CPO OF only. If referring to the Export Citation in RMF No. 191/PMK.05/2020 about the Substitution of RMF No. 57 /PMK.05/2020 about Tariff in Public Service Obligation Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) in Ministry of Finance, the CPO Supporting Fund would be more expensive.
According to this regulation, the reference price that Ministry of Trade decided could be US$ 951,86/MT, The CPO Supporting Fund that PFMA would take could be about US$ 945 – 970/MT and may get citation reaching US$ 225/ton. In total, in January 2021, CPO Supporting Fund from PFMA and CPO OF could be US$ 299/MT. (T2)
