PalmOilMagazine, BANJARMASIN – Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA) of South Kalimantan and its members distributed helps such as, daily needs, and cash about 400 million rupiah to the people who were hit by flood in some districts in South Kalimantan.
“IPOA of South Kalimantan and its members distributed the helps to the people who are hit by the flood in South Kalimantan,” Chairman of IPOA South Kalimantan, Eddy S Binti said, as in the official statement to PalmOilMagazine recently.
Daily needs, such as, instant noodle, cooking oil, sardines, and others were distributed both directly, in cooperation with Plantation Agency South Kalimantan and related instances in the districts. Besides, IPOA of South Kalimantan is in cooperation with the police, army, and many posts.
The helps were distributed to anticipate the crowded and to minimize interaction with others knowing that Covid-19 pandemic still hits.
Eddy thought that the help distribution is the concern and commitment of IPOA of South Kalimantan and its members to ease the victims’ burden. Besides the daily needs, IPOA also distributed cloth, religious cloth, diapers, and books for the people.
“IPOA and Borneo Forum planned to distribute more for the people,” he said.
Eddy did hope that the helps could ease their burdens. “Let us pray that the water could immediately be low and we could do everything normally,” he said.
“Thank you the companies as the members of IPOA that trusted us to distribute the helps for the flood victims in South Kalimantan,” Operational Chief of Tapin Police Kota Rantau, Kompol Raindhard Maradona said.
He mentioned that the helps hopefully would be positive and ease the people’s burdens in South Kalimantan. (T2)
