PalmOilMagazine, PAPUA BARAT – Corruption Eradication Commission (CEC) represented by Coordination and Supervision of Prevention Region V did meet with Governor of Papua Province about the integrated areas as ex palm oil plantation in the Revision Document of Regional Spatial in the office of Governor of West Papua Province, Thursday (3/6/2021)
Chairman of Coordination and Supervision of Prevention Region V CEC, Dian Patria; Governor of Papua Barat, Dominggus Mandacan; the officers; and Vice Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial/National Land Agency, Surya Tjandra did attend the meeting.
“We hope, the government agrees to revise the draft of Spatial and Region, the ex – palm oil concession areas which become the indigenous areas. The regional governments should publish decision to indigenous people,” Dian said, as in the official statement to PalmOilMagazine.
Meanwhile, Governor of Papua Barat, Dominggus told, his side is revising the Spatial and Region to decide the borders of protected forests, conservation, livings, the industries, and others. “We are committed to make Papua Barat as the conservation and sustainable development province,” he said.
He also mentioned, the license publication to 24 companies was based on Manokwari Declaration which the point was about to involve the indigenous people and advantage the natural resources, maintain the forest regions to be sustainable and could be useful for the country, regions, and people. (T2)
