Palmoilmagazine, MEDAN – Until now the Indonesian Attorney still investigates crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivative export facility.
There are four men investigated intensively, they are, the former General Director of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Trade, IWW; Senior Manager Corporate Affairs Permata Hijau Group, SMA; General Manager of General Affairs PT Musim Mas, TS; and Commissioner of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, MPT.
In the official statement to Palmoilmagazine, Wednesday (8/6/2022), PT Permata Hijau Group as one integrated palm oil plantation company that supplies to domestic needs and does exports, mentioned that the company did the right things when domestic market obligation (DMO) implemented in February 2022 and stopped in March 2022. The company fully obeyed every export regulation in Indonesia and cooperated with investigators since the suspects were announced. The company also handed over every documents and notes which the investigators needed.
“Permata Hijau Group fully supports the government’s programs to minimize the impacts of the expensive palm cooking oil,” the company mentioned.
The company also participated in bazar which the government regulated by supplying subsidized palm cooking oil.
“Permata Hijau Group respects every legal process which is still running now and would deliver cooperation to the authority,” Permata Hijau Group mentioned. (T5)
