Palmoilmagazine, JAKARTA – PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk. (ANJ) allocated 25% of the 2021 net profits or about US$ 10 million as the dividend. Every share-holder in ANJ would get dividend for about Rp 43 per share. It was approved in the Shareholder General Meeting in 2021 which was running on Wednesday (8/6/2022).
Besides deciding the use of 2021 net profits which ended on 31 December 2021, the meeting decided and approved to take Naga Waskita as the Director of ANJ which his official duty ended in the annual shareholder general meeting.
In the public expose, Director of ANJ, Lucas Kurniawan told that the net profits of the 2022 first quarter increased 261,9% compared to the same period in last year which reached US$ 11 million.
"The success story of ANJ in 2022 first quarter happened for the increasing crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK) price in the average which reached 53,7% and 79,4% for each. CPO and PK trade contributed about 99% of the total income of the company or reached about US$ 74,8 million compared to US$ 58,2 million or 99,2% from our 2021 first quarter income,” Lucas said, as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine, Wednesday (8/6/2022).
He also mentioned, the increasing income of the company happened for the sago flour trade, fresh and frozen edamame which increased 78% and 175% for each. Sago flour selling reached US$ 378,8 thousand of the total income in the 2022 first quarter.
The numbers escalated from US$ 212,3 thousand in the same period of 2021 for the increasing selling volume. Meanwhile edamame contributed US$ 203,2 thousand, or increased 175% from US$ 73,9 thousand in the same period of 2021. (T2)
