Palmoilmagazine, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) on Wednesday (27/7/2022) slightly increased to be Rp 9.425/kg. It means, it got better about Rp 50/kg compared to Tuesday (26/7/2022) tender which was Rp 9.375/kg.
From the information that Palmoilmagazine got from KPBN, in Belawan it was Rp 9.425/kg in withdraw (WD) status within the highest bid Rp 9.400 /Kg, and so was in Dumai. In Teluk Bayur it was Rp 9.305/kg and in WD status, within the highest bid Rp 8.909/kg, in Palembang it was Rp 9.325/kg and in WD status within the highest bid Rp 9.200/kg.
In West Kalimantan, it was Rp 9.225/kg in WD status within the highest bid Rp 9.150/kg, in Palopo it was Rp 9.225/kg in WD status within the highest bid Rp 9.050/kg.
Consultant of LMC International in Southeast Asia, Julyan McGill said, CPO in Indonesia gets cheaper because of the abundant stock and it is difficult to conduct export again, as quoted from The Edge Markets.
Last week, the Government of Indonesia was considering to eliminate domestic market obligation and domestic price obligation because of the high CPO stock in Indonesia and postponed smallholders’ better fresh fruit bunch price.
