Palmoilmagazine, JAKARTA – In the recent days, Ministry of Commodity and Plantation, Malaysia, Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin was optimist to get agricultural exports up to RM 300 billion in this year.
Zuraida would escalate the exchange target of the country by additional exchange up to RM 100 billion compared the 2021 exports that reached RM 204 billion and RM 84 billion in 2020.
“The target would be reachable and Malaysia International Agri-commodity Expo and Summit (MIACES) would contribute to add the export value up to RM 300 billion in 2022,” she said, as quoted from Bernama.
Zuraida also explained, the summit would be the better platform to show up the achievement and sustainability of agro-commodity though the United States of America and Europe always attack by the forced labor accusation.
The event, as it was said, would perform conference, business math, roundtable discussion, and business to business to get exposure, expand potential investment, and maximize their productivity profits in international markets.
As the host, MIACES would focus on palm oil, rubber, cocoa, pepper, and kenaf sector which are the main economic motors nationally. (T2)
