Palmoilmagazine, JAKARTA – To develop palm oil downstream sectors, such as, constructing distillery to get derivative products of palm oil which are about to be sold in and abroad, PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN) recently signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with POSCO INTERNATIONAL Corporation (PIC), on Thursday (18/8/2022) in Jakarta.
Director of TLDN, Wishnu Wardhana said, the cooperation would be significant part in green development diversification to deliver additional values for the company. “And to keep improving the commitment of TLDN to be world – class agribusiness company,” Wishnu Wardhana said, as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine, Friday (19/8/2022)
It is hoped, the MoU would escalate the values of the company and as the follow up of the MoU, both TLDN and PIC would be arranging feasibility study to know and get detail prospect of the downstream projects.
“We have visited palm oil plantations and mill(s) of TLDN in District of Berau in May 2022. We believe, this cooperation would deliver the positive for both and palm oil industries in Indonesia,” Senior Vice President Agro Commodities Division PIC, Seung Pyo Hong said.
For information, PIC is a South Korean company that runs trade in international level. It also runs infrastructures, natural resource development, has lots of experiences in palm oil industries in Indonesia through its subsidiary, PT Bio Inti Agrindo (BIA). PIC has and cultivates palm oil plantations and has three mills in Merauke, Papua Province. (T2)
