Palmoilmagazine, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) slightly got cheaper to be Rp 11.500/kg on Monday (29/8/2022), it means, it got cheaper Rp 35/kg compared to Friday (26/8/2022) tender which was Rp 11.535/kg.
From what Palmoilmagazine got from KPBN, in Belawan it was Rp 11.500/Kg, in Dumai it was Rp 11.500 but in withdraw (WD) status with the highest bid Rp 11.452. In Teluk Bayur it was Rp 11.380/Kg but in WD statuswith the highest bid Rp 11.118/Kg.
In Talang Duku it was Rp 11.380/Kg but in WD status with the highest bid Rp . 11.093/Kg.
This is contradiction to CPO price which slightly gets better in the globe but it gets pressure for the Government of Indonesia planned to extend zero export levy.
The plan was agreed in the meeting of the Steering Committee of Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA), Sunday (28/08/2022) that decided five things, such as, the first, Export Levy about US$ 0 for every product would be available until 31 October 2022; Biodiesel Allocation would be multiplied in 2022; Developing red palm oil; Support Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificate acceleration; and Support Smallholders Replanting Program (SRP).
“The extension time for export levy or US$ 0 is about to maintain the moments, such as crude palm oil (CPO) price is stable, palm cooking oil gets cheaper, and fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price gets better and the planters (smallholders) start getting the benefits,” Coordinator Minister in Economy, Airlangga Hartarto said in the virtual meeting, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Sunday (28/8/2022).
