Palmoilmagazine, JAKARTA – Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan told that simple packaged palm cooking oil with the brand ‘Minyakita’ has been distributed and sold in West Papua Province within the normal and same price at Rp 14.000/liter.
He thought, West Papua is one prior region to distribute it to make the equal palm cooking oil supply within the economic price as it is in many regions in Indonesia.
“The containers that consist of ‘Minyakita’ were arrived in Fakfak from Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta on 11 August 2022 by sea. This is the cooperation with Ministry of Transportation,” Zulkifli Hasan told as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine, Wednesday (31/8/2022).
One container consisted of 18.600 liters of Minyakita which arrived at Fakfak port, West Papua Province on Monday (29/8). The total reached 1,32 million liters and transported to many regions through sea to minimize logistic distribution costs which means it would be the same as the highest retail price (HRP). Zulkifli Hasan himself released the containers.
‘Minyakita’ that has been in Fakfak, would be directly distributed by one distributor which is, PT Sinar Suri Fakfak to the retailers in District of Fakfak and around. Trade and Industry Agency West Papua Province targeted, Minyakita is now available in the surroundings within not more than HRP, starting from Tuesday (30/8) or one day after it arrived in Fakfak.
