PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – In 2023, PT Triputra Agro Persada, Tbk (TAPG) experienced a 5% decrease in fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production compared to the previous year. Tjandra Karya Hermanto, Director of PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk., attributed this decline to the drier climate, particularly in the second half of 2023.

He noted that 2023 proved to be a challenging year for the palm oil industry due to the significant impact of El Niño on production in palm oil-producing countries, rising global energy prices due to geopolitical tensions, and escalating production costs, particularly for fertilizers.
