TAPG’s 2023 Challenges: 46% Plummet in Net Profit Sparks Board Reshuffle

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Throughout 2023, PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG) recorded revenue of Rp 8.33 trillion or a decreased around 11% compared to 2022, where net profit also experienced the same thing, reaching Rp 1.66 trillion or recorded a decrease of 46% compared to 2022.

The company’s assets until the end of 2023 were recorded at Rp 13.87 trillion, corrected by 5% compared to last year due to a decrease in current assets used to accelerate the repayment of bank debt.

According to PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG) Director Erida, this also had an impact on reducing the company’s expenses with liabilities decreasing by 39% (yoy) to Rp 2.53 trillion by the end of 2023. “However, the company’s equity was recorded to increase by 9% (yoy) to Rp 11.34 trillion,” she said during the Public Expose of PT TAPG monitored by Palmoilmagazine.com, written Friday (3/5/2024).

Referring to information from the company, the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) has approved and ratified the Annual Report, and the Company’s Financial Statements for the Financial Year 2023.

The shareholders also approved the distribution of dividends totaling Rp 1.80 trillion or equivalent to Rp 91 per share, an increase of 140% compared to last year’s dividend per share.

The meeting also approved changes and reaffirmation of the composition of the Company’s board of directors and commissioners following the death of the Company’s commissioner Kuntoro Mangkusubroto at the end of 2023. The Company condoled his passing and thanked him for his dedication and contribution to the Company.

Thus, the composition of the new Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors is as follows, for the Board of Commissioners including Arif Rachmat, Arini Saraswaty Subianto, Toddy Mizaabianto Sugoto, Danny Rachmat and Independent Commissioners namely Aridono Sukmanto, Maruli Gultom and Stanley Setia Atmadja.

While the Board of Directors include President Director, Tjandra Karya Hermanto; Directors Erida, Sutedjo Halim, Budiarto Abadi and George Oetomo. (T2)
