PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEDAN – Embracing the spirit of giving during Ramadan 1446 H, Musim Mas Group organized a Ramadan Safari in Medan, North Sumatra. The initiative provided support to 650 orphans and distributed nearly 6,000 Eid packages to underprivileged communities around the company’s operational areas.

Musim Mas Group’s Corporate Affairs Manager, Yuandy, emphasized that the Ramadan Safari reflects the company’s commitment to the surrounding communities. “This blessed month is an opportunity for us to share and strengthen our bonds with local residents,” he stated in an official release quoted by Palmoilmagazine.com on Wednesday (March 26, 2025).

Throughout Ramadan, Musim Mas Group carried out various social activities, including financial aid and communal iftar with orphans. The company also distributed nearly 6,000 Eid gift packages containing essential items such as 2 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of rice, bathing soap, dishwashing liquid, and sugar. These donations were delivered to several areas in Medan, including Titi Papan, Tanjung Mulia, Mabar, Bagan Deli, and Belawan, as well as surrounding villages.
The aid was warmly received by the community. Susilawati, a beneficiary from Mabar, expressed her gratitude: “This assistance greatly eases our family’s burden, especially in meeting basic needs during Ramadan. I hope this program continues every year.”
Beyond distributing aid, the iftar gathering also featured a religious sermon from a local cleric, creating a solemn atmosphere with prayers and donations for orphans.
The Ramadan Safari program received support from various stakeholders, including community leaders, village and district officials, military personnel (Babinsa), social organizations, and mosque administrators, ensuring a smooth and heartfelt event.
