PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — PT Jhonlin Agro Raya Tbk (JAR) is redefining the future of Indonesia’s palm oil industry. While many companies still focus on upstream operations, this Borneo-based firm has evolved from a plantation company into a major player in green energy and value-added palm oil products.

A turning point came in 2021 when JAR launched its state-of-the-art palm oil processing facilities: a refinery with a capacity of 1,650 tons per day, a biodiesel plant producing 1,500 tons per day, and a fractionation plant capable of 250 tons per day. That same year, JAR achieved a milestone by delivering its first 5,000 kiloliters of biodiesel to Pertamina—marking its active support for Indonesia’s national bioenergy agenda.

As reported by Palmoilmagazine.com via MetroTV (Tuesday, October 14, 2025), JAR’s transformation continued with the 2022 debut of Minyak Goreng JAR, the company’s first branded cooking oil. The launch highlights JAR’s shift from a traditional plantation operator to an integrated provider of sustainable food and energy solutions.

Now listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) under the ticker code JAR, and operating under the Jhonlin Group, the company is accelerating its mission to become a national leader in integrated palm oil and renewable energy industries.
