PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEDAN — PT Musim Mas has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Indonesia’s education sector through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) Medan. Signed on December 19, 2025, the collaboration focuses on renovating postgraduate classrooms into Smart Class facilities that are modern, comfortable, and adaptable to contemporary learning needs.
The MoA also marks Musim Mas’ first collaboration with State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) in Indonesia. The signing ceremony took place on the UINSU campus and was attended by Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and Institutional Development, Prof. Dr. Muzakhir, M.Ag., representing UINSU Rector Prof. Dr. Nurhayati, M.Ag. Senior UINSU officials were present, alongside Musim Mas representatives led by President Director Gunawan Siregar and Head of Corporate HR Lenny, accompanied by their teams.
The partnership emerged from open discussions between UINSU and Musim Mas regarding challenges in academic infrastructure, particularly the need for representative postgraduate learning spaces. These challenges include accommodating online lectures with international faculty, amid UINSU’s growing student intake of approximately 6,000 new students annually.
