PALMOILMAGAZINE, KEMBANG JANGGUT, EAST KALIMANTAN — PT REA Kaltim Plantations (REA) distributed 33 pigs as Christmas livestock to 10 assisted villages in the Kembang Janggut and Tabang sub-districts of Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. The distribution formed part of the company’s support for local communities in celebrating Christmas 2025.
The initiative aligns with the National Christmas Theme 2025, “God Is Present to Save the Family,” reflecting values of care, togetherness, and social solidarity. The handover of the Christmas livestock was warmly welcomed by village officials and local residents, who received the assistance with enthusiasm and joy.
Manager of Smallholder & Community Development at PT REA Kaltim Plantations, Dian Mayasari, said Christmas is a meaningful occasion closely associated with peace and togetherness.

“Christmas carries strong values of peace and unity. In line with these principles, the distribution of Christmas livestock represents REA’s commitment to continuing its support for local communities while strengthening harmonious relationships with surrounding stakeholders,” Dian said in a statement received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Wednesday (December 24).
She further explained that the activity is part of REA’s Empowering Livelihoods pillar, which focuses on enhancing social and economic resilience among communities surrounding the company’s operational areas.
