PALMOILMAGAZINE, DUMAI – Apical, through its business unit PT Sari Dumai Oleo (PT SDO), officially launched Rumah FABA Kreasi Muda in Lubuk Gaung Village, Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai, Riau, on February 12, 2026. The facility forms part of the company’s broader effort to strengthen community empowerment by developing productive economic activities based on the utilization of non-hazardous materials.

Rumah FABA Kreasi Muda serves as a production center for concrete bricks (batako) and paving blocks using Fly Ash and Bottom Ash (FABA) as substitute raw materials. FABA is classified as non-hazardous and non-toxic material generated from Apical’s power plant operations. Instead of being treated as waste, the material is processed into construction products that support local infrastructure development.
