PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Monday, 2 September 2024, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati officially inaugurated two new directors at the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA). This appointment is part of a rotation, promotion, and filling of vacant positions within the Ministry of Finance.
Normansyah Hidayat Syahruddin was appointed as the Director of Fund Raising at PO PFMA, while Mohammad Alfansyah was named Director of Fund Distribution. These new roles are crucial for managing the palm oil plantation fund, which plays a significant role in Indonesia’s economy.
In her speech, Sri Mulyani highlighted that these changes are essential for the organization’s needs. She urged the new officials to go beyond administrative duties and to act as leaders and role models for their colleagues.

The inauguration was part of the ministry to maintain the finance in this country, confirm that the revenue would be the effective instrument to protect the economy and the people when the economic dynamic would keep changing.
Besides the two new directors in PO PFMA, 440 other officials were inaugurated in the same day. They consisted of 49 officials in II echelons, and 391 officials in III, IV echelons, functional, and non-echelon units in the ministry.
Sri Mulyani also said, the new officials should adapt fast because there would be challenges to manage fiscal in the social media. Every official in the Ministry of Finance would be the attention of the public.
“The social media would be one tool for the people to deliver their opinions, we have to know it 24/7 and months, and years. We would be watched,” she said.
She also reminded most of the officials in the ministry derived from young generations and the new ones should be the leaders that would develop, deliver good examples in the dynamic work. (P2)
