PALMOILMAGAZINE, BANDA ACEH — Muhammadiyah Youth of Aceh continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the welfare of palm oil farmers by actively engaging in national events that highlight innovation and foster collaboration across the industry.
Chairman of Muhammadiyah Youth Aceh, Zul Hafiyan, announced that three of their best young representatives in the palm oil sector—Fauzan Putraga Albahri, Zulfazli, and Yoyon Nofanta—were sent to represent Aceh at the national level.
According to Zul, this involvement reflects Muhammadiyah Youth’s serious efforts in empowering independent palm oil farmers and promoting sustainable development within the sector.
“Through effective financial management to support industry growth, we also aim to stimulate the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within communities,” Zul stated in an official release received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Sunday (August 10, 2025).
He further urged the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) to continue providing financial and technical support to palm oil SMEs, particularly in Aceh. He emphasized that BPDP’s mission to enhance the contribution of palm oil, cocoa, and coconut plantations to the national economy must also directly improve the welfare of local communities surrounding plantations.
Meanwhile, Fauzan Putraga Albahri, one of the delegates, expressed gratitude to BPDP for giving Muhammadiyah Youth Aceh the opportunity to showcase local palm-based innovations.
At the exhibition held in Riau, Muhammadiyah Youth Aceh presented a wide range of palm oil–based products, including perfumes, eco-print materials, Acehnese souvenirs, and other innovations ready for the national market.
“This is a great opportunity for us to introduce local products from the Land of Serambi Mekkah. God willing, if given the chance, we will bring similar programs to Aceh and develop them further,” Fauzan said.
He added that Muhammadiyah Youth Aceh will continue to involve local SMEs in every future program to ensure that palm oil farmers benefit more broadly.
“Our focus is to help farmers and small entrepreneurs grow, in order to improve the livelihoods of palm oil growers in Aceh,” Fauzan concluded. (P2)
