According to Sistem Informasi Industri Nasional (SIINas) of Ministry of Industry, until now 114 food and drink industries completed self-assessment in INDI 4.0 that becomes the reference index to know that such industries are ready to transform to 4.0 industry.
“The numbers of INDI 4.0 were got from industrial self-assessment that got related materials that had something to do with 4.0 industry, such as, the strategies and action of industries in transformation heading to 4.0 industry,” Putu said.
Chairman of Gabungan Pengusaha Makanan dan Minuman Seluruh Indonesia (GAPMMI), Adhi S. Lukman told the development heading to 4.0 industry showed seriousness to encourage and increase competitiveness particularly in food and drink industries. “We appreciate that the activity was not a ceremony only but we have to be serious for having future challenges that need digital technology implementation,” he said.
Adhi continued, the development could be the base to develop competent human resources to implement 4.0 industry. “Hopefully many companies would get advantages including small and medium industries in the digital implementation,” he said. (T2)
