PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) has officially dispatched 48 employees from Batch IV to four key assignment regions—South Sumatra, North Sumatra, Central Kalimantan, and Riau—as part of its ongoing mission to secure and manage state assets in the plantation sector. The hybrid briefing event was held at Agrinas Headquarters in Jakarta on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Memed Kosasih Setia Putra, Director of Human Resources and General Affairs, personally addressed the team, emphasizing that their deployment goes beyond technical tasks—it is a mission to bring reform and integrity to the field.
“We’re not just sending people; we’re sending the spirit of transformation. These individuals represent the company on the frontlines,” said Memed, as quoted by Palmoilmagazine.com from Agrinas’ official website, Thursday (July 10, 2025).

He stressed the importance of integrity, mental resilience, and strong character, noting that all employees had gone through rigorous training and selection processes, preparing them not only with technical skills but also with the mentality required to manage sensitive and strategic assets.
“These employees are the vanguard of Agrinas in protecting and managing national assets,” he added.
Agus Sutomo, President Director of PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) and retired Lieutenant General, also addressed the group. He reminded the employees of the serious responsibility they carry as representatives of a state-owned enteIDRrise entrusted with managing strategic assets.
“This is not a trivial task. The state has placed its trust in you—honor that trust with professionalism, responsibility, and dignity,” he urged.
The Batch IV personnel will be directly involved in operational efforts to manage palm oil plantation assets currently undergoing legal processes and temporarily placed under the state’s custody for productive use.
Agrinas is currently responsible for managing approximately 480,000 hectares of plantation land across Riau, North Sumatra, South Sumatra, Central Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, and Papua. These lands are mostly state-owned assets that risk degradation or devaluation without proper management.
Through the application of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and a professional governance model, Agrinas aims to preserve and maximize the long-term economic value of these assets.
Kolonel Arm (Purn) M. Jajar, one of the participants, shared his reflections on the briefing, noting that the messages were highly relevant and grounded in the realities they will face.
“The guidance was impactful—it clarified our roles, authority, and responsibilities. We must perform with high dedication, remain vigilant, and avoid being a burden to the team,” Jajar said.
He also underscored the importance of professional ethics and discipline, stating that core values like Saptamarga, the Soldier’s Oath, and the Eight Obligations of the TNI remain moral anchors, even in civilian roles.
“Don’t be toxic, a parasite, or a burden. Be part of the solution. That’s what earns you respect in the field,” he said firmly.
Similarly, Colonel (Ret.) Akhmad Amroji, who will be assigned to Central Kalimantan, appreciated the clear and comprehensive direction from Agrinas’ leadership.
“It was very useful and made us mentally and professionally more prepared to face the challenges ahead,” Amroji concluded. (P2)
