Mitra Media Network (Holding)

Established on 1 september 2007, PT Mitra Media Nusantara began from an idea to bring the media that can be a reference for national industry. PT Mitra Media Nusantara or the abbreviated form PT. MMN motto; Advanced, trusted and prominent in order to deliver benefits for industry players in Indonesia.

MMN is the pioneer of the segmented media that dedicating itself for a specific industry. Based on the lack of information and data makes industry players find difficult to analyze market and to know the growth of business information now and in the future.

MMN’s first product is InfoSAWIT magazine that was launched at Grand Hyatt Hotel Nusa Dua Bali on November 15, 2007. InfoSAWIT magazine is the first media that specifically discussing the information about national and world palm oil industries. As a publishing company that focuses on print and electronic media, PT. MMN as a pillar of industry stakeholders, also have an important role to play in promoting the development of the national industry for the creation of strong industry for the welfare of the nation.

Palm Oil Magazine 

Palm Oil Magazine is here as a medium of information about the palm oil industry in Indonesia in particular and the world’s palm oil industry in general. Comes with the concept of business media that provides information about the issue of the palm oil industry by carrying out eight leading themes related to plantations, regulations, international and sustainability.

The participation of palm oil industry players in providing information in Palm Oil Magazine is an incomparable contribution to the formation of information sharing among readers as well as strengthening the quality of the news.

Writing Quality

In order to produce good writing, weight remains the main priority of the editor. Therefore, the concept of writing accompanied by the latest data becomes a strong asset for Palm Oil Magazine in presenting all the themes raised, as well as being a reference for the palm oil industry in Indonesia.

Palm Oil Magazine so far has received support from palm oil associations, plantation companies, governments, and international institutions, including: the Indonesian Palm Oil Society (MAKSI), the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BRIN), Indonesian Growers, and the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

Ignatius Ery Kurniawan, S.Pd.

Editor-in-Chief, InfoSAWIT

 

Education

Ignatius Ery Kurniawan enrolled at Universitas Negeri Jakarta in 1997. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Management at IPB University, which he began in 2020.

 

Professional Career

He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of InfoSAWIT, a specialized publication covering Indonesia’s and the global palm oil plantation industry. He has held the position since 2007.

Throughout his career at InfoSAWIT, he has undertaken extensive reporting assignments in palm oil plantations and covered various industry workshops, seminars, and related events.

Prior to joining InfoSAWIT, he worked as a mathematics teacher at Saint Joseph Junior and Senior High Schools from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2010, he served as Executive Secretary of the Indonesian Association of Oleochemical Producers (APOLIN).

 

Professional Organizations

He has been actively involved in a number of organizations representing the upstream and downstream palm oil sectors. His previous roles and affiliations include:

  • Secretary III of the Indonesian Palm Oil Board (Dewan Minyak Sawit Indonesia/DMSI) in 2009.
  • Masyarakat Perkelapa Sawitan Indonesia (MAKSI).
  • Indonesian National Interpretation Working Group for RSPO (INA-NIWG RSPO).
  • Working Group of the Ministry of Industry for the Palm Oil Industry.

Education

Atep Yulianto Irawan enrolled at Universitas Negeri Jakarta in 1997. During his university years, he was actively involved with the Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa (LPM) Didaktika, the student press organization at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, from 1997 to 2002.

 

Professional Career and Organizations

He currently serves as Managing Editor of InfoSAWIT, a specialized publication covering Indonesia’s and the global palm oil plantation industry. He has been part of the publication since 2007 and has carried out reporting assignments in palm oil plantations, as well as covering industry workshops and seminars.

Before joining InfoSAWIT, he worked as a Technical Development Designer at a Japanese manufacturing company in 2008. From 2002 to 2007, he worked as a graphic designer for a book publisher.

He is also an active member of the Indonesian Planters Society (IPS), Jakarta Planters Club (JPC), and the Association of Practitioners and Observers of the Cattle–Palm Oil Integration System (Gapensiska).
