PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The General Directorate of Plantation has issued Circular Number 441/SE/SM.120/E/05/2024, announcing an extension for student candidate registrations for the Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit (SDMPKS) scholarship program for 2024.
The extension is necessary because, as of May 24, 2024, the registration numbers had not reached the maximum quota of 900 candidates.
The extension and finalization of candidate data will take place from May 26 to May 31, 2024. This information is detailed in the circular signed by the General Director of Plantation at the Ministry of Agriculture, Andi Nur Alam Syah, and was received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Monday, May 27, 2024.

Director of Plantation Protection, Hendratmojo Bagus Hudoro said that registration, selection, and scholarship would be free of charge. “By the extension, it is hoped, the candidates of student in affirmation namely from the prior regions should take advantages on the opportunity to develop their potential and contribute to develop sustainable palm oil plantations in Indonesia,” he said.
According to the circular, the terms and conditions for the SDMPKS scholarship have been outlined in the Decision of the General Director of Plantation Number 57 / 2023. This document provides the technical guidelines for the Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit, funded by the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA)and its amendments.
Besides, the official Documents signed by Director of Plantation Protection Number B-2872/SM.120/E.5/05/2024 also emphasized the registration extension. General Directorate of Plantation prioritized the student candidates from Papua and disadvantaged, frontier, and outmost regions. It is online registration through beasiswasdmsawit.id that would start on 26 to 31 May 2024. (T2)
