PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Monday, May 27, 2024, the crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was priced at Rp 12,188 per kilogram, marking an increase of Rp 16 per kilogram, or approximately 0.13%, from the tender price of Rp 12,172 per kilogram on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
According to information from KPBN, the CPO Franco prices were Rp 12,188 per kilogram in Belawan and Dumai, Rp 12,058 per kilogram in Teluk Bayur, and Rp 11,988 per kilogram in Talang Duku.
The CPO prices at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose due to an expected increase in exports and higher crude oil prices, which offset the declining prices of other vegetable oils in the market.

As quoted from Reuters, CPO reference price in Malaysia wiped out the previous profits because of the increasing production. CPO reference contract price for August 2024 delivery increased RM 12 per ton or about 0,31% to be RM 3.897 (US$ 828,44) per metric ton in the previous trade.
