CPO Price at KPBN Inacom Withdrawn on Thursday (18/4), Malaysia Exchange Sees Increase

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Crude Palm Oil (CPO) price at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom resulted in Withdraw (WD) status, with the highest bid reaching Rp 12,465/kg on Thursday (18/4/2024). This represents a marginal increase of Rp 5/kg or approximately 0.04% compared to Wednesday’s (17/4/2024) tender, which stood at Rp 12,460/kg.

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, CPO Franco in Belawan was priced at Rp 12,475/kg but was in WD with the highest bid at Rp 12,415/kg. Similarly, CPO Franco in Dumai was priced at Rp 12,475/kg but in WD with the highest bid at Rp 12,465/kg. Meanwhile, CPO Franco in Talang Duku was priced at Rp 12,325/kg but in WD with the highest bid at Rp 12,165/kg.

Although the CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange saw an increase on Thursday (18/4/2024), it barely surpassed the lowest level recorded in the past six weeks. This was attributed to anticipated sluggish demand following the conclusion of the Idul Fitri celebration.

As reported by Reuters, the CPO reference contract price under the code FCPOc3 for July 2024 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by RM 9 per ton, or approximately 0.22%, reaching RM 4,021 (US$ 841.92) per metric ton by midday.

Below are the CPO prices at KPBN (Rp./Kg), excluding income tax, on Thursday (18/4/2024):

  • Franco Belawan Rp. 12.475 (WD) with the highest bid Rp. 12.415-BEST
  • Dumai Rp. 12.475 (WD) with the highest bid Rp. 12.465-KJA

Talang Duku Rp. 12.325 (WD) with the highest bid Rp. 12.165-PII. (T2)
