PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was priced at Rp 13,209 per kg on Monday (5/8/2024).
This marks an increase of Rp 104 per kg or about 0.798% from Friday’s (2/8/2024) price of Rp 13,105 per kg.
According to information from KPBN Inacom as obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com, the CPO price in Belawan and Dumai also stood at Rp 13,209 per kg. Last week, CPO prices at KPBN rose about 1.72% compared to the previous period.

Meanwhile, in Malaysia, Reuters reported that the price of CPO contracts on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell on Monday (5/8/2024) due to falling crude oil prices and the strengthening ringgit. The price of the benchmark contract for October 2024 delivery fell RM 45 per ton, or about 1.15%, to RM 3,872 (US$ 882.00) per metric ton at midday.
CPO contract price got decreased 0,63% last week and became the second week – decreasing price.
Still from Reuters, soyoil price at Dalian got decreased 0,34%, while CPO contract got increased 0,03%. Soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade decreased 0,07%. (P2)
