PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp. 15,553/kg on Friday (13/12/2024), thus the price of CPO recorded an increase of 0.42% or an increase of around Rp. 65/kg , compared to the price of CPO on Thursday (12/12 / 2024) with the highest offer of Rp. 15,488/kg.
From the information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the Dumai Franco Price was set at IDR 15,553/Kg. The price of CPO in Talang Duku was set at IDR 15,353/Kg. The price of CPO in Teluk Bayur was set at IDR 15,423/kg.
Referring to Palmoilmagazine.com calculation, in the period of December 2-6, 2024, the average price of KPBN CPO was recorded to have decreased by Rp. 180.80/kg to Rp. 15,683.20/kg , or there was a decrease of around 1.14% compared to the average price of CPO in the previous week period (December 2-6, 2024) which reached Rp. 15,864.00/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, Palm oil futures on Bursa Malaysia extended losses on Friday, (13/12/2024) following weakening prices of other vegetable oils on the Chicago and Dalian exchanges, and were poised to post a weekly loss.
The price of the benchmark FCPOc3 palm oil contract for February 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell RM 35 per tonne or about 0.71%, to RM 4,886 (US$ 1,097.98) per metric tonne at the midday break. It was noted that palm oil contract prices fell 4.72% during the week.
Meanwhile, soybean oil prices fell 0.61% on the Chicago Board of Trade BOcv1. The price of the most active Dalian soybean oil contract, DBYcv1 fell 0.97%, while the price of its palm oil contract DCPcv1 rose 0.44%.
