PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp13,350 per kilogram on Tuesday (May 20, 2025), marking a 0.71% increase (Rp94/kg) from Rp13,256/kg on Monday (May 19, 2025).
From information received by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN Inacom, the price of CPO Franco Belawan & Dumai was set at Rp13,350/kg. The price of CPO Franco Teluk Bayur was set at Rp13,220/kg. The price of CPO Franco Talang Duku was set at Rp13,150/kg.
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that palm oil futures on the Malaysian exchange continued their upward trend for a second consecutive day on Tuesday (May 20, 2025). This positive momentum was driven by strong sentiment in the global vegetable oil market, particularly following China’s announcement of a new set of economic stimulus measures, which boosted prices on the Dalian exchange.

The benchmark CPO futures contract for August 2025 delivery on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by 1.44% during the mid-day session to RM3,938 per metric ton, equivalent to approximately US$919.45.
On the Dalian Commodity Exchange, the most active palm oil contract (DCPcv1) increased by 1.42%, while soybean oil (DBYcv1) rose by 0.46%. In contrast, soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (BOcv1) fell by 0.47%.
