PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEDAN – The official pricing committee for Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) in North Sumatra has set the price of oil palm FFB for trees aged 10–20 years at IDR 3,597.71/kg for the period of April 23–29, 2025. This marks a decrease of IDR 59.97/kg from the previous rate.
Based on information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from the North Sumatra Plantation Office, the FFB prices by tree age are as follows:
- Age 3 years: IDR 2,783.30/kg
- Age 4 years: IDR 3,029.92/kg
- Age 5 years: IDR 3,237.10/kg
- Age 6 years: IDR 3,329.06/kg
- Age 7 years: IDR 3,356.92/kg
- Age 8 years: IDR 3,448.67/kg
- Age 9 years: IDR 3,511.97/kg
- Age 10–20 years: IDR 3,597.71/kg
- Age 21 years: IDR 3,591.06/kg
- Age 22 years: IDR 3,544.19/kg
- Age 23 years: IDR 3,510.60/kg
- Age 24 years: IDR 3,397.15/kg
- Age 25 years: IDR 3,295.57/kg
For the same period, the price of crude palm oil (CPO) was set at IDR 14,107.17/kg, and palm kernel (kernel) at IDR 13,834.31/kg, with a K index of 93.51%. (P2)
