North Sumatra FFB Prices Ease in Mid-February, 10–20 Year Trees at IDR 3,564.91/kg

PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEDAN — Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices in North Sumatra declined for the period of February 11–17, 2026, following a decision by the provincial pricing team.

According to the official determination, FFB from oil palm trees aged 10–20 years fell by IDR 21.22 per kilogram to IDR 3,564.91/kg. The adjustment reflects routine price recalculations based on market references and prevailing commodity values.

For the same pricing period, crude palm oil (CPO) was set at IDR 14,257.28/kg, while palm kernel was priced at IDR 13,173.70/kg, with the K index recorded at 92.65%.

Based on data obtained from the North Sumatra Plantation and Livestock Agency, the detailed FFB prices by tree age are as follows:

  • 3 years: IDR 2,759.58/kg
  • 4 years: IDR 3,023.11/kg
  • 5 years: IDR 3,206.28/kg
  • 6 years: IDR 3,297.24/kg
  • 7 years: IDR 3,325.58/kg
  • 8 years: IDR 3,415.74/kg
  • 9 years: IDR 3,479.05/kg
  • 10–20 years: IDR 3,564.91/kg
  • 21 years: IDR 3,558.10/kg
  • 22 years: IDR 3,511.87/kg
  • 23 years: IDR 3,477.52/kg
  • 24 years: IDR 3,363.92/kg
  • 25 years: IDR 3,262.21/kg

The latest adjustment indicates a modest correction in line with movements in CPO and kernel prices, which continue to influence farmer-level FFB pricing across the province. (P3)
