PALMOILMAGAZINE, Pekanbaru – The pricing team for independent palm oil Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) in Riau Province has set the FFB price for the March 4–10, 2026 period. Referring to the FFB Price Determination Letter No. 7, the price for 9-year-old oil palm plantations increased by IDR 55.13 per kilogram, reaching IDR 3,552.39/kg.
During the same period, the reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) was set at IDR 14,205.80/kg, while the palm kernel price reached IDR 13,927.32/kg. The palm shell value was recorded at IDR 22.60/kg, with a K index of 92.66%.
According to data compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency, the price of independent FFB varies depending on the age of the oil palm trees.

For younger plantations, the price for 3-year-old palms was set at IDR 2,754.08/kg, while 4-year-old trees were priced at IDR 3,069.35/kg. Prices continued to rise to IDR 3,291.63/kg for 5-year-old palms and IDR 3,417.74/kg for 6-year-old plantations.
Meanwhile, FFB from 7-year-old palms was priced at IDR 3,495.04/kg, followed by IDR 3,537.09/kg for 8-year-old plantations. The price for 9-year-old palms reached IDR 3,552.39/kg, marking the highest price in the category.
For plantations aged 10–20 years, the price was set at IDR 3,516.64/kg. Prices for older plantations were recorded at IDR 3,458.62/kg for 21-year-old palms and IDR 3,391.46/kg for 22-year-old trees.

Prices then gradually declined to IDR 3,315.09/kg for 23-year-old palms, IDR 3,257.17/kg for 24-year-old plantations, and IDR 3,209.76/kg for 25-year-old trees.
For older trees, the price was set at IDR 3,192.65/kg for 26-year-old palms, IDR 3,166.30/kg for 27-year-old plantations, IDR 3,116.25/kg for 28-year-old trees, IDR 3,079.39/kg for 29-year-old palms, and IDR 2,995.15/kg for 30-year-old plantations. (P2)
