PALMOILMAGAZINE, Padang – The Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) pricing team of West Sumatra has set the oil palm FFB prices for the March 1–7, 2026 period. Based on the agreement, the price for oil palm plantations aged 10–20 years was set at IDR 3,688.21 per kilogram, marking the highest reference price in the period.
During the same period, the reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) was determined at IDR 14,138.61/kg, while the palm kernel price was set at IDR 14,000.29/kg. The K index used in calculating the FFB price was recorded at 93.37%.
According to data compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the West Sumatra Plantation, Food Crops, and Horticulture Agency, FFB prices vary depending on the age of the oil palm trees.

For younger plantations, the price for 3-year-old palms was set at IDR 2,883.08/kg, while 4-year-old trees reached IDR 3,050.17/kg. The price increased to IDR 3,223.18/kg for 5-year-old palms and IDR 3,338.56/kg for 6-year-old trees.
Meanwhile, FFB from 7-year-old palms was priced at IDR 3,472.59/kg, followed by IDR 3,602.87/kg for 8-year-old plantations. The price for 9-year-old palms reached IDR 3,676.48/kg.
The benchmark category of 10–20-year-old oil palm trees recorded the highest price at IDR 3,688.21/kg during the period.

For older plantations, the price for 21-year-old palms was set at IDR 3,541.12/kg, while 22-year-old trees were priced at IDR 3,535.79/kg. Prices continued to decline gradually to IDR 3,483.01/kg for 23-year-old palms, IDR 3,322.13/kg for 24-year-old plantations, and IDR 3,287.63/kg for 25-year-old trees. (P2)
