PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — In the first half of 2025, PTPN IV PalmCo, a subholding of state-owned plantation holding PTPN III (Persero), disbursed IDR 16.78 billion through its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program to various regions across Indonesia.
PalmCo President Director Jatmiko Santosa stated that the TJSL program is designed to strengthen the company’s social role beyond its economic contributions by supporting education, health, and spiritual development within communities.
“We aim to ensure that the company’s presence brings real, positive impact,” Jatmiko said on Sunday (July 13) in Jakarta.
The assistance was distributed to hundreds of locations across Sumatra, Kalimantan, Aceh, Java, and Sulawesi. It covered the construction and renovation of religious facilities and classrooms, provision of clean water, disaster relief, and stunting prevention programs.
Jatmiko emphasized that all TJSL activities are carried out with measurable impact and accountability, using a participatory and community-driven approach.
“We prioritize the most urgent needs of the local communities,” he noted, as quoted by Palmoilmagazine.com via Antara.
Meanwhile, PalmCo Director of Institutional Relations Irwan Perangin-angin added that the company has supported over 500 aid targets, including around 150 religious and educational facilities. PalmCo also provided emergency relief to flood-affected areas in Riau, Sarolangun, Landak, and the Greater Jakarta region.
“PalmCo is also actively addressing stunting-prone areas through the distribution of supplemental food, family nutrition education, and strengthened support for community health posts (posyandu),” Irwan said. (P3)
