PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU – The fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price for plasma oil palm smallholders in Riau Province recorded a slight decrease for the period of October 8–14, 2025. According to the Price Determination Team’s meeting results outlined in Decree No. 36 on Plasma Oil Palm FFB Prices, the price for nine-year-old palms fell by IDR9.81 per kilogram to IDR3,686.11/kg.
During the same period, the crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at IDR14,574.73/kg, while palm kernel (PK) stood at IDR13,829.67/kg, and palm shell was valued at IDR17.38/kg, with a K index of 92.75%.
Based on data from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency, the following are the detailed plasma FFB prices compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com:
- Age 3 years: IDR2,846.70/kg
- Age 4 years: IDR3,221.93/kg
- Age 5 years: IDR3,413.12/kg
- Age 6 years: IDR3,560.98/kg
- Age 7 years: IDR3,638.28/kg
- Age 8 years: IDR3,681.19/kg
- Age 9 years: IDR3,686.11/kg
- Age 10–20 years: IDR3,666.98/kg
- Age 21 years: IDR3,610.20/kg
- Age 22 years: IDR3,556.00/kg
- Age 23 years: IDR3,497.87/kg
- Age 24 years: IDR3,434.27/kg
- Age 25 years: IDR3,362.63/kg.
The marginal decline in plasma FFB prices reflects a relatively stable market condition despite ongoing fluctuations in global CPO prices. Local authorities continue to monitor pricing trends to ensure fair returns for plasma smallholders across Riau. (P3)
